Our Players Are For Sale Not Free Agents, Masters Security FC
Masters Security Football Club says it will try to recoup the money it invested in its players before initiating a sale of the club.
Masters Security General Secretary Christopher Njeula told us that they will not bar players from joining other clubs but rather negotiate for a transfer fee.
However, Njeula maintained that the team will be sold before the kickoff of this year's football season which was suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic.
After being relegated from the elite league, Masters Group of Companies announced the intention to sell its football club but up-to-date the club is yet to be sold.
According to Masters Security General Secretary Christopher Njeula, though they are yet to sell the club, some suitors are still showing interest to buy the central region based football club
He says they intend to sell the football club before the kickoff of the 2020 football season in August to give the new owners room to prepare for the new football season.
However, Njeula maintained that though Masters Security is on the market, Its players are not free agents and that teams looking for their signatures will have to pay a transfer fee.
Masters security FC was relegated from the TNM Super League last year and is yet to be registered in the central region football association league.
