"We don't know. I think no one knows if it will take place this year or not. We are planning to discuss it during our Executive Committee Meeting Next Month, in September," Khalid Cassam, Zone VI General Secretary.
"We may have to push the dates from the traditional month of December. That is to next year, 2021," Ringisai Mapondera, Zimbabwe Volleyball Association President.
"We are doubtful of the 2020 Zone VI Championship. We do not think the time will be enough for our Clubs to prepare thoroughly. The need to raise resources has always been a challenge," Jairos Nkhoma, Volleyball Association of Malawi General Secretary.
"Our squad is intact. Players are doing their individual exercises just to keep their bodies in shape. The only thing we are missing is the team training. We are ready to defend National Championship and come zone VI, definitely, we will represent Malawi again" Faston Tegha, Moyale Barracks Volleyball Team, Team Manager.

Zone VI senior clubs Championship is the only international competition that Malawi Clubs have participated in the past decade, under the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB).
2020 Zone VI Championship was expected in December in Mozambique before, Zambia in 2021. Malawi hosted the 2019 Championship in Lilongwe at African Bible College.
