According to Central Region Womens Football association general secretary Frank Kalilombe, everything is in place for the eagery awaited league final match between the Lilongwe giants which will curtain raise a TNM Super League fixture between Civil Sporting Club and Moyale Barracks on Saturday at the civil stadium.
“We asked Super League of Malawi to allow us curtain raise a TNM super league match involving Civil Sporting Club and Moyale Barracks scheduled for Saturday they have agreed and we are delighted to have been granted such an opportunity its a great opportunity for the girls to showcase their skills,” Kalilombe said.
DD Sunshine are the defending champions and will need to secure a win if they are to get the championship while Skippers who top the league standings with a superior goal difference will only need a point to clinch the title.
“its going to be a mouth watering fixture considering that the winner will get the championship, we were in the same scenario last year and DD Sunshine turned the tables,” Kalilombe said.
