Malawi Under20 Leaves for Zambia
The Malawi Under 20 national football team has on monday left for Lusaka, Zambia ahead of the 2019 COSAFA U-20 Youth Championship which kicks off on Wednesday.
Speaking before departure team manager for the Under 20 side Aubrey Nankhuni said the team has enough arsenal to compete at the championship.
"We have a good squad and the boys responded very well during our training sessions and I believe they will do a good job in Zambia.
"Our boys have prepared well enough for the tournament and we want them to play our football and enjoy the games," Nankhuni said.
The team will play their opening match against Comoros on Wednesday before facing Botswana on Saturday and are expected to finish their Group A campaign on December 9 with a game against Zambia.
