Dwangwa United Revive Hopes of TNM Stay
Relegation-threatened Dwangwa United have revived hopes of continued stay in the TNM Super league after they beat Kamuzu Barracks 3-2 yesterday at Civo Stadium.
Muhammad Bayison scored a hat trick to keep the cane growers’ survival hopes alive ahead of their closing fixtures against Karonga United and Chitipa United in the north.
Dwanga United coach, Ladwell Mbetewa, described the win as crucial in their attempt to survive relegation.
His opposite number, Temwa Msuku, bemoaned lack of concentration from his charges but said they will now turn their attention to the FISD Cup final against Blue Eagles.
