Moyale Barracks, fondly known as the Soldiers of Kaning’ina, on Sunday defeated Nyasa Big Bullets 5-4 in post-match penalties at Civo Stadium to qualify in Lilongwe to qualify for the final of the FISD Challenge Cup.

Khuda Muyaba gave Moyale the lead in the first half before Bullets leveled the score sheet in the second half.

Fischer Kondowe scored a second controversial goal for Bullets in the dying minutes of the match from the spot that attracted protests from the military side.

When everybody thought Bullets were through to finals, Muyaba proved them wrong when he netted his second goal of the match, forcing the game into penalties.

Bullets’ Nelson Kangunje shoot out was saved by Moyale’s shot stopper, Macdonald Harawa.

Moyale will face Kamuzu Barracks on December 2 in the final match.

Kamuzu Barracks qualified for the final stage after beating Masters Security 5-4 through post-match penalties at Civo Stadium on Saturday.
