In their testimonies, the women told the court that from 2018, Pastor Bellow, slept with them twice each in different places, including in the houses of other Church members in pursuit of the resolution for their marital problems.

The first witness, told the court, that she joined Chisomo Ministry of Pastor Wyson Bellow, in 2018, to seek spiritual help since her husband who was working in South Africa was not assisting her.

"I explained my problem to the accused, he told me that I needed 'anointing', according to 1 Samuel chapter 10 where Prophet Samuel anointed King David through kissing," she narrated.

She further alleged that later, the accused told her to go to the house of the other member for the anointing ceremony where he offered a prayer before they had sex.

However, she revealed that though they had sex twice, but her problem persisted and was later divorced.

Taking her turn, another witness who was chosen as an intercessor at the ministry, claimed:

"I slept with the Pastor following a revelation that I had a great gift that needed anointing to manifest".

However, in cross examination, the defence through senior Legal Aid Advocate, James Tate Chiundira, asked the witnesses to confirm if the accused raped them or they agreed, but they all said they felt the Pastor taken advantage of their conditions to rape them while threatening them with curses and Bible verses, such as 1 Samuel 10.

Meanwhile, On February 23, 2022, State Prosecutor Inspector Michael Ludovico Paulino, is expected to parade the final witness who is a police officer, before Magistrate makes her determination on whether the accused has the case to answer or not.
