Maranatha Academy Tops University Selection List
Maranatha academy has sent 306 students to public universities, topping the list of intsitutions that have sent their students to the universities as released by the National Council of Higher Education (NCHE).
St Marys Secondary School has sent 85 students, 73 are from Marist Secondary School, Target Mzuzu 109, Stella Marris 86, Zomba Catholic 80, Likuni 154, Chaminade 132, Mary Mount 112, Atsikana Paulendo 90 and Michiru View 85.
Maranatha Academy Managing Director,Dr Ernest Kaonga, says that “this is no mean achievement.
“We are commending parents and guardians for putting their trust on us. To our students, who will forever be part of story and history, we are so proud of their achievement and we wish them all the best as they take the next big step of their lives.”
“We will continue to strive for the better, and this is encouraging because it means we are improving every academic year and hopefully next year will be better,” he added.
According to NCHE 8, 552 students have been selected to universities out of 19, 760 applications.
