Chinkhoma Auction Floors in Kasungu to Close on 14th August

As the tobacco marketing season draws to an end, the Tobacco Commission has announced that Chinkhoma Auction Floors in Kasungu will close on the 14th of this month.

Tobacco commission Chief Executive Officer, Kaisi Sadala, says this follows the recommendation by the market committee due to low volumes of tobacco getting to the floors.

Chinkhoma will be the second market to close after Limbe in Blantyre.
