Police Arrest Two Zimbabwean Nationals For Possessing Cocaine 

Lilongwe Police have arrested two Zimbabweans for allegedly possessing 215ml of a Narcotic drug Cocaine solution in area 43 Lilongwe on Tuesday identified as Tinashe Mukarati aged 36 and Merisha Jackson aged 43.

Speaking to Zodiak, Lilongwe Police Spokesperson, Hastings Chigalu, says the drugs were sent to Pharmacy Medicines and Regulatory Authority (PMRA) for analysis where they confirmed that it was Cocaine.

Meanwhile, the two are under police custody and are expected to show up in court soon, however, Mr Chigalu is encouraging people to work hand in hand with the police and report such people that are contributing to the drug and substance abuse among youth in the country.
