Chakwera Cancelled Trips To Save K268 million

President Lazarus Chakwera has delegated cabinet ministers to attend two international meetings this month, in compliance with his set austerity measures announced last month.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nancy Tembo said this yesterday in Lilongwe when she, alongside other three cabinet ministers faced the press, where she said the president will not attend the OPEC fund development forum in Austria and the Commonwealth meeting in Rwanda.
