Airtel Shares: Malawians Priority

Airtel Malawi Tuesday morning announced that it will offer to the general public a total of 2. 2 billion Kwacha shares, an amount which translates to 20 percent stake in its business, an offer which will be open on Friday.

Speaking to the press in Lilongwe, Airtel Managing Director, Charles Kamoto says Malawians are a priority in the shares on offer.

Meanwhile, economic expert from The Polytechnic, Dr Betchani Tchereni says this is a rare opportunity for Malawians to jump on as they take steps in investing.
