The Judiciary says only two cases have yet to be concluded of the 44 electoral disputes that were brought to the courts after the May 21 tripartite elections.

The first provisional budget for Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s administration has drawn mixed reactions with some seeing it as feasibility while others say it is a tough ride for the new administration.

New Finance Minister, Felix Mlusu had his first assignment Tuesday when he presented the 722 billion kwacha provisional budget which is expected to run government operations between July 1 and October 31st this year.

The Lilongwe District Health Office says for the past two days, it has failed to conduct further tests from Kaliyeka in Lilongwe where 10 people recently tested positive to COVID-19 due to hostile environment that was in the area, a development which is posing a big threat for spread of the disease in the area and Lilongwe at large.
