Ward councilors and chiefs in Thyolo have asked the district council to trace four contractors who signed the Performance bond and got advanced payments on the development projects they abandoned.

A final decision has been made by councilors and chiefs in Thyolo district rejecting Dr. Medson Matchaya as their District Commissioner.

Workers at Thyolo District Council have written the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to proceed with its decision of sending former Nkhotakota District Commissioner Dr. Medson Matchaya to Thyolo.
