One of them, Marie Goreti in Blantyre, claims, she has had several break-ins but luckily at all time there no one in the house. Nothing has been stolen on all occasions, she says.

She claimed her husband also died mysteriously of suspected poisoning by the same agents.

Her comments are echoed by another refugee who only identified himself as Fabimana, claiming she was representing ten other people, who were afraid to come out in the open.

"We are being targeted and some have died through staged road accidents and poisoning among other means," he said.

The Rwandan government has always denied any involvement in attacks of its citizens living abroad, challenging they must bring evidence to prove their case.
