Acclaimed filmmaker Alinafe Trywel Mwambira has announced the scheduled debut of her forthcoming feature, "The Royal Dilemma," for next month.

The film is a gripping drama that explores the complex themes of power, loyalty, and personal identity within a royal household, focusing on the conflict between public duty and self.

Mwambira has confirmed to Zodiak that the project is in its final post-production phase. 

"Our team is working hard to ensure the movie meets our high standards," she stated, noting that an exact release date will be announced shortly.

While the director did not disclose specific figures, she described the budget as "substantial," reflecting the production's significant scale and ambition.

The film promises a compelling cinematic experience, featuring standout performances from a cast including Joyce Muhango Chavula, Edwin Chonde, Ian Chisakula, and Idah Chabs, alongside beautiful settings and a thought-provoking narrative.

When asked about future projects, Mwambira confirmed that "The Royal Dilemma" is not her final endeavor, revealing that her team already has other concepts in development and plans to continue producing films that align with their creative vision and values.
