Thyolo Senior Resident Magistrate Samrah Muhammad has today adjourned to 17 February this year, a case in which three men are suspected of having sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 18 in the district.

Appealing before court for pleas, state prosecutor Dyson Peter Mozhent said the trio allegedly committed the offense between January and February this year.

Mozhent said one of the three enticed the girl with K500 before notifying the other two that the girl was loose. They both reportedly slept with her through the same enticement.

However, the trio that comes from Traditional Authority Maganiza and Kapichi respectively, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Mohammad denied them bail before adjourned the case and remanded them to Mulanje prison.
