Wife Nabbed for Biting Husband’s Private Parts in Thyolo

Police in Thyolo are keeping in custody a 41-year-old woman for allegedly biting her husband’s private parts during a confrontation over suspected extra-marital affairs.

Sergeant Rabecca Kashoti, spokesperson for Thyolo Police Station, has identified the suspect as Takondwa Njirayagoma from Kang'oma Village, Traditional Authority Khwethemule.

Kashoti says Njiragoma is accused of attacking her husband after catching him with another woman.

She says the victim alleged that his wife had been denying him conjugal rights for unspecified reasons and had previously set ablaze his clothes.

“The victim told the police that after she refused him for a long time, he started seeing another woman. She found out about it, followed up, and caught him red-handed,” she said.

She added that the confrontation quickly turned violent.

“The suspect became angry, tore her husband’s trousers, and bit his testicles,” Kashoti explained.

The matter was reported to Makwasa Police Unit, where the victim was issued a medical report and referred to Malamulo Adventist Hospital. He is currently admitted in fair condition.

The suspect is in police custody pending court appearance to answer charges of acts intended to cause grievous harm.

“We urge couples to seek peaceful means of resolving domestic disputes. Violence not only harms relationships but can also lead to serious legal consequences,” added Kashoti.
