Living Waters Church Challenges Men to Rise and Lead

Participants at the conference

The Mighty Men Ministry of the Living Waters Church International has called on men to rise up and take their rightful role of serving God and ensuring socio-economic independence.

Speaking on Saturday during a men’s conference at Thyolo Boma Living Waters Church, the ministry’s Bvumbwe chairperson, Humphrey Chaweza, said the gathering sought to reawaken men to become vessels of God, work together in business, and contribute to national development.

“Men must rise and take their positions, not only in church but also in business and national development. We are God’s vessels and must use that role responsibly,” said Chaweza.

Chaweza further observed that many men, despite being regarded as heads, do not participate in church life as actively as women, who are increasingly involved in various spheres including business.

The church’s district evangelism chairperson, Pastor Samson Kenadi, described the conference as timely and critical for men’s spiritual and social transformation.

“This conference is a challenge for men to rise and bring others to the service of God. It is about empowering them to be leaders in both faith and society,” Kenadi said.

Meanwhile, Traditional Authority Kapichi, who was among the participants, stressed that success in leadership is attainable for everyone, including men, if they put God at the center of their efforts.

“Leadership with God is leadership with success. Men must remember that their strength lies in walking with Him,” Kapichi emphasized.

The conference drew participants from 26 churches in the district.
