The departed Catholic priest, father Claude Boucher, has been described as a man who knew how to safeguard and preserve the Malawian culture.
Robert Kalindiza who once worked as a curator at ku Ngoni Centre of Culture and Arts in Dedza says father Boucher, well known as a Chisale as unique, did not like to be identified as a white man considering the years he spent at Mua Mission.
Father Boucher died yesterday at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
