God’s Temple Ministry Shares Love with Namaona Community In Thyolo

The Blantyre-based God’s Temple Ministry has donated 100 food packs to vulnerable people in Namaona Village, Senior Chief Boyidi, in Thyolo District.

Speaking on Sunday after the handover, Apostle Aaron, leader of God’s Temple Ministry, said the initiative reflects their mission to serve others and demonstrate God’s love in action.

Apostle Aaron stressed that there is need for more hands to aid people who are facing hunger in the rural areas.
“This is our assignment — to serve others and show that Jesus’ love is real and practical,” said Apostle Aaron.

The gesture followed a successful evangelical crusade held on September 12–13, 2025, at Namaona Primary School grounds, in collaboration with the Namaona Evangelical Church of Malawi (ECOM).

The donation, worth about K1.7 million, benefited 100 elders, orphNS and widows who received 5 kilograms of maize flour, 2 kilograms of rice, soya pieces, salt, and soap.

Namaona ECOM resident pastor, Pastor Starford Uzimba, commended the partnership, describing it as a true act of faith that strengthens community bonds.

He said “I ma delighted that this food has reached to the needy here. I am calling upon people with ability to share with those who are in need. Again, my fellow Christians, lets spread the gospel everywhere including rural areas”.
Meanwhile, Village Headwoman Namaona lauded the ministry for reaching out, saying the donation has eased hunger among her people.

“This support has come at the right time. We are grateful and urge everyone to continue putting God first in their lives,” she said.

God’s Temple Ministry comprises members from various denominations, united by a shared commitment to spreading the gospel and supporting those in need.
