Chisawani CCAP Men’s Ministry Inspires a New Generation of Godly Leaders

The Men’s Ministry under the Limbe Presbytery of the CCAP Blantyre Synod continues to inspire transformation among men, shaping them into responsible family heads and positive influencers in their communities.

Limbe Presbytery Coordinator for the Men’s Ministry, Reverend Rhidson Shadrec Jimu, said the ministry is helping men build strong families while also reaching out to support the vulnerable through various community initiatives.

“The ministry is helping to save men to Christ and assist others through reach out and touch. Our goal is to mold men who are not only strong in faith but also dependable leaders in their homes and communities,” Reverend Jimu said. “When a man is transformed by the Word of God, the entire family and society benefit.”

Speaking after the commissioning of the fourth cohort of men at Chisawani CCAP in Thyolo on Sunday, Reverend Jimu encouraged the members to remain humble and committed as “soldiers of Jesus Christ.”

On his part, the church's Ministry Chairperson, Lovermore Makaluka, expressed joy at the growing number of young men joining the ministry, a platform once dominated by older members.

“We are delighted to see more young men embracing the ministry, which was once viewed as a calling for the elderly,” Makaluka said. “This shows that the message of responsible Christian living is resonating across generations.”

One of the newly commissioned members, Jammy Nyamuka, shared that he decided to join the ministry after realizing the dangers of living a worldly life.

Nyamuka said: "I wanted to change my life and walk in the right direction. The Men’s Ministry gives us guidance, fellowship, and purpose.
