Farmers across Malawi continue to face mounting challenges due to climate change — drought in one season and floods in the next — as shifting weather patterns tighten their grip on the country’s fragile agricultural systems.
As Malawi prepares to join the world in commemorating this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Women Lawyers Association of Malawi (WLAM) has called on women, children, and other vulnerable groups not to suffer in silence but to report any form of violence they experience.
African governments have been challenged to take the lead in promoting and protecting the rights and dignity of older persons across the continent.
