Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has appointed FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head Coach, Kalisto Pasuwa as the interim head coach for the Flames.
This comes after the FA Malawi fired Patrick Mabedi last week.
The decision to bring Pasuwa on board was made during a virtual meeting of FAM’s Executive Committee on 1st November 2024.
Pasuwa will be supported by Silver Strikers’ Coach Peter Mponda as First Assistant Coach, with Moyale Barracks’ Coach Pritchard Mwansa serving as Second Assistant Coach.
Former Flames Coach Kinnah Phiri will take on a role as Technical Advisor, along with Silver Strikers legend Young Chimodzi.
Meanwhile, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets top officials are expect to meet before the end of the week to discuss the future of Pasuwa whose contract is coming to the end at the end of the season.
