The Ministry of Gender has renewed its call for beneficiaries of the Social Cash Transfer Program (SCTP), commonly known as Mtukula Pakhomo, to invest the funds strategically to help break the cycle of poverty in their households.
The National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) has cautioned beneficiaries of its Micro Irrigation Loans against misusing inputs, warning that communities found in violation will face withdrawal of support.
Malawi, also known as the Warm Heart of Africa, is a country full of opportunities not only for its citizens but also foreign nationals who for decades have been establishing their businesses here.

Two people who were wrongfully arrested and detained in 2020 over murder of a person who later turned up alive may not be heard in court on their claim for the next four years, and they are concerned.
Harlod Moya and Moffat George were arrested and were in detention for over three years on suspicion they had murdered a person that later turned out to have fled to Mozambique and is alive.
