Nkhoma Mission Hospital has revealed that more than one percent of Malawi’s population is blind, with cataracts accounting for nearly 40 percent of the cases.
A Thyolo-based organisation, Chipembere Community Development Organization (CCDO), has called on youths and sex workers to familiarize themselves with Malawi’s national policies to effectively advocate for their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Police in Thyolo have confirmed that three people have died while 13 others have been injured following a road accident that occurred Friday morning when a three-tonner vehicle plunged into a ditch near the Satemwa turn-off along the Limbe–Thyolo–Limbuli Road.
