Super League teams have officially endorsed Ronald Chiwaula as the Vice President of the Super League of Malawi (SULOM) following his nomination from all the 16 clubs that play in the elite league.

Chiwaula has replaced Colonel Gilbert Mittawa, who took over the presidency from Fleetwood Haiya.

"I am delighted that all the teams have trusted my capabilities, and the only way to reward them is to work with due diligence for the betterment of the game," Chiwaula added.

On 1st March SULOM held its Annual General Meeting in Lilongwe, where it was also announced that the 2025 season will kick off in April with a target of finishing in December 2025.

SULOM General Secretary Williams Banda also told us that they have submitted 2025-2026 draft fixture to all the 16 teams for further scrutiny.

Speaking on behalf of the teams Creck Sporting Club Chairperson Muhammad Selemani hailed SULOM for submitting the draft fixture saying it will assist them to carry out proper vetting of the games.
